Inspiration:

Vanille began long before its release. What started as a simple pursuit of a

vanilla fragrance took a different direction when I first encountered real

vanilla beans from Sabah.

They were sweet, but sweetness was only part of the story. There were facets

of fruit, fermentation, cacao, balsam, and tobacco that rarely appear in

modern vanilla fragrances.

Vanille was created to capture the character of the vanilla bean itself, not just

its sweetness. A tribute to a material far more complex, textured, and

beautiful than its reputation suggests.
